St Kilda? Geelong? Bulldogs? Collingwood?
St Kilda? Geelong? Bulldogs? Collingwood?
Who does everyone think will win the premiership this year??? will it be one of the 2 obvious teams saints & cats OR will the likes of the doggys and pies cause an upset?? OR... will an underdog not mentioned here get up and take the holy grail????
I think I speak for most people that if my own team isn't playing then I'd love to see a Geelong vs St Kilda grand final. You always want to see the two best teams make it through and when they put on a show like they did on Sunday then how could you complain.
But that said I would spew if St Kilda won the premiership, cant stand them.
Go Cats

I think the Cats are hurting too much from last year's grand final to let this year slip. Forget about round 14. St Kilda were good but it wasn't a final of any kind.
Mind you, I like the form of the Bulldogs. Don't think they can win a grand final, but they could just upset either St Kilda or Geelong on a good day.

I don't think brissy are any good yet but they have some promising young players! Do u think it would have been insulting to the lions lastnite that Geelong rested 8 of their key players which was quite obviously to save them the travel to brisbane? Having said that tho it's a handy 4 points for brissy!! It gave us Geelong supporters a look at wat it feels like to be like "the rest"
hahaha

Doesn't one round change things.....except Geelong is still one of the 2 best teams despite losing to the Lions......minus heaps of players. To put the Lions into perspective they got thrashed by Port the week before and Port showed their real colours against Melbourne. They were pathetic! Can only win at home and play like crap away from home. Brisbane will be a real force over the next few years but this will not be their year. As for Port, they made the wrong decision reappointing the coach. It is all downhill for them.
i was looking thru my footy fixture yesterday and couldnt help but notice the precious snipering saints get to play a hell of alot of games at etihad stadium over the season! and only 1 game at the MCG in round 22 against melbourne.. Does anyone think this may effect the saints finals run with oval size and crowd pressure ect???
Could be any of the top 4 or 5 teams. They all have there good and bad days. Saints are going great guns and there score proves that. Cats are still in with a great chance and you would think they would have there team back to full or near full strength when September comes around. Never put the Bulldogs, Crows or a few of the other top five teams out though. Some teams have still got more to offer and can rise to the occassion.

Good observation kaskill. The Saints love Etihad but that's not where the Grand final will be played. Lucky for them it will probably be a fine spring day, because if it isn't......they will lose. Perhaps they are a protected species like the Magpies......we don't want to give them too many games outside Victoria or they may not make the finals.
