Is that a joke? It might be a bit funnier if you hadn't recorded just 13k in Sydney last night . And Saturday night is much better for ratings than a Sunday arvo game, and last night was far from the Sydney's worst ratings this year.

except that 6k in melbourne was the only telecast, where as 13k for Sydney on FTA was one of 3 telecasts

This thread is the same bullshit we get every year. Oh look Origin is popular = rugby league is popular. its literally a theatre event with almost no flow on effects to the game once origin is over outside of NSW and QLD.

As opposed to all the other foaming, frothing ,stamping of feet ,jealous rage THREADS started by Aflol fans when SOO rolls around every yr .

Most of the threads have been started by RL posters trying to boast how big RL is because of SOO - yet when it's pointed out that AFL gets SOO crowds to H & A matches, it's like we took away your dummy! Most of us couldn't care less about SOO as most Victorians about RL! Hahaha happily admit it it the biggest event in Australia - but it is a gimmick good luck to the NRL for it but it's H & A season is fast becoming the opening act to a 3 game gimmick series. That's fine if that's what you want to be the centrepoint for your game - perfectly fine - doesn't mean others have to agree or even acknowledge it!

you're way over-estimating the importance of 3 games which dont draw a crowd as big as the AFLs biggest game, and may not even rate more
