Touched a raw nerve there didn't i, not sure about the ratings but I can state as fact the crowd was bigger than the Friday night nfl game in Sydney and that is an embarrassment know matter how you try and deflect.
A raw nerve?

Jesus Christ, take ur hand off it! There could be children on these forums and they don't need to see ur self indulgent exercise goin on there!

AFL crowds avg higher than league crowds, as if I'd be troubled by that you silly lil pissant, it's a fact. It's got a culture of big crowds mainly due to the fact it's not that good a product on TV, the difference is immense.

Another fact? Crowds are only a small fraction of rl total support.

You finding that hard to consume axey boy?
i guess it kinda puts ur point in perspective don't it.

In fact, it's actually a VERY small fraction

But to look at it from another angle, de Suns cwowd is in fact a big fraction of total supporters which makes things a lil funnier still

Not there yet, keep trying you'll see the point I'm making soon. Just as an aside what is the total turnover of the AFL compared to the nrl and if there is a difference would crowds have anything to do with it champ.
Wookie ur new ruling States axes above post can now be deleted, it's well off the topic of the Suns now  poor axes boys really struggling.
Yep we gotta keep this thread, and all threads nice and tight from now on, as you've stated you will do wookie :)

Thanks bro.

Back on topic, man how fukkin shithouse are the thuns? Anyone know what their tv audience was in sydney? Axey boy?

Too easy
First, use the report function.

Second, it might look offtopic, except he's referring to your assertion that crowds are such a small part of the overall scheme of things. His post is essentially saying that the AFL derives a lot of money from crowds and memberships. Its relevant, you just dont want to see it.
Ah wookie :?> this thread is specifically about the thuns rather than the AFL in case you didn't notice

It appears that...you just don't want to see it wookie

But I've just rammed it in ur face, so you can see it now right?

Your just not giving it a chance, it's a great point. How much money would have the home team lost on Friday night in Sydney, huge kick in the guts must have been hoping for something above pathetic. But as you say crowds give a very poor indication of overall strength and popularity.

Why
2/3 of the crowd were sthn ********* either living on the GC
or they travelled up from victardia
The thuns didnt have 5k of their own people there
& they are all sthn ********* too :(/
This on top of a fine mild evening resulted in that crowd

The game in Sydney was live on tv
It was cold
Wet ... pouring in fact
Windy too
Parramatta are last
Souths are struggling
No GI

Should I go on wanker ?

ok,
- suns game was live on TV in Qld
- southerners now living on the GC are now locals irrespective of where they originate
- collingwood fans travelling to GC are still fans. The game we are comparing to was a sydney game with 2 sydney teams. Travel shouldnt be an issue
- Cold isnt an issue for anyone
- Wind isnt an isse for anyone
- rain is an issue but doesnt explain 11k for 2 local sides
- GC are second last
- GC isnt heartland, Sydney is

need i go on?
