Why would anyone need to make excuses When despite, cyclonic conditions, 30m lightning interuption and power blackouts, still got better ratings than last Anzac day. If ratings plummeted like a lead weight down a mine shaft, as the AFL's did then you would need excuses .
Our ratings were lower than the AFL's. But it not one of our high rating games, we didn't expect any difference , and given the conditions it was a successful day.The AFL must consider Saturday to be one almighty muther f***er of a day.
