In my opinion, Sydney is too old and too slow for the new game. We have not really adapted well to the new rule changes. Totally outclassed again by the Pies even without Shaw x 2, Didak, Rocca and Thomas. I had hoped pre game the Swans would get a confidence building win with all the Pies injuries/suspensions/problems.
I got a real reality check again tonight, Sydney is simply not capable of playing finals with any confidence. We may scape in to the top eight but we'll certainly bomb out in week one again.
Time for a re-build in Sydney. Could be a long time before our next flag.
