Re: Australia’s Confederations Cup bid the help of the four major football codes
The price one pays to have international events, Stadium Australia will jump at the chance, I expect Lang Park will do the same.
The issue becomes if the MCG or Ethihad is the Melbourne venue, if the MCG is, then the final will be played there, if not then the final will be played in Stadium Australia.

Fuck this mob, if other sports can play at our stadiums, they are good enough for these softcocks to play at without wasting our money on shit that will never be needed.
Fuck them, all they want is more more more.
Fuck them, all they want is more more more.

Not really about upgrading, more about access. some upgrade might be necessary, mainly turf (lang park is woeful) but by all accounts Allianz isn't up to AFC standards, especially broadcast etc.leeroy*NRL* wrote:If this Upgrades Sydney Stadiums

But it looks like Allianz is pretty much locked in for upgrade from State Government, the discussion is mainly the split between ANZ and Parramatta/western sydney
