The Final attracted an Audience of 300k in Australia. (it has 10 teams)
they have just signed a new TV Deal

Netball has more to offer than AFL bahahahahaha.

For a start, it's played right across this country and NZ too, it outrates the AFL everywhere bar the Southern states. In NZ, AFL does not rate, netball rates quite well in NZ, it beats Soccer and AFL over there and in some states out here, in Aus it can and does out rate Union too.

In a way, netball is a lot like AFL only played outdoors, everything else about them add up.

Played by girls? yes.
Tight shorts or skirt required? check
No real contact below the knees or above the waist? Check Don't wanna see any nipple cripples or squirrel grips aye. Done.
Only a certain demographic will like it? check, AFL cross country netball is liked in half the nation only and hated the rest.
