But but but ..
Growth
Sleeping giant
Taking over
RL is dying .

Looks like the wankfest over the lol league has finished .

Same every yr .

& the dumb arguments the fans come up with as to why it is taking over are classic .

Memberships..they say look at the growth ..BLAH blah ..we are growing .
But they ignore the fact while they are growing. Other sports are still growing too .
AFL miles in front but still growing .
NRL sitting a long way back in 2nd spot but still growing & still along way ahead of the lol league.

the clubs didn't shut down anything - traffic just slowed down as expected with over half the season already finished

we hit our overall targets - will the other codes? i couldn't care less if someone bought a season ticket in round 1 or round 27, the final tally is all that matters and we already smashed our goal

Quick question how big is your waiting list?

We don't have waiting lists because if the people want to watch the game, they can get a membership to the big stadium only, derp!

And the so-called waiting list for your lot is a myth. They have filled the joint once and once only yet they supposedly have a waiting list for the thousands that get locked out weekly when they post 14-15 or 16k crowds. The mythical members they have seem to never turn up.

soccer clubs all over the world have waiting lists if season tickets are sold out

most will have a loyalty point system of which you can accumulate based on being a non-ticketed member or if you're a regular matchgoer. accumulate enough points over 1 season and you'll be given priority after renewals are done

probably a foreign concept for you because parra only has 11k season ticket with the other 9k of their 20k member base being either anz members or non-ticketed.

flimsy at best when compared to wsw who have 17k season ticket holders

learn the difference  ...its been like year since i first explained to you the difference...old timer [-X ...i realize its difficult to be a member of anything when you live in wollongong but shit do some research at least

Parra aren't at 20k yet so I'm fucked if I know how you broke it all down, just more bullshit from a noted bullshit artist.

So another myth busted, I thought they had a waiting list because they were soooooooooo popular, yet here we are with figures showing that the season tickets are no where near capacity and they never will be because the figures are bullshit. What I reckon it is is some rich bastard like the owner of the LOL league buying up a heap of memberships even though they will never be used just for a bit of bullshit propaganda.

I know I put shit on Souths and their mythical numbers, but at least once or twice a season, they will get a big crowd where all their members turn up, never seems to be the case for the LOL leagues wonderers, aye. Heck Souths managed over 32k against the storm of all teams, mythical members turned up for once eh?

Same never happens for the lol league team out west, just post the same or close too crowd figure each week and hope no one will notice which is fair enough if you can get away with it like they can because no one watches them on TV to actually keep them in check LOL.

hmm the only thing that i can find that mentions paras memberships and 11,000 is this article from 2010, about the total membership reaching 11,000
http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/leag ... 14v7f.html

This article from last year says the Eels havve 12,900 season ticket holders.
http://www.smh.com.au/sport/soccer/alea ... 0b2tb.html

12,900

you got me wook.

still, its less than wsw's which is the point, but you got me son.

nevertheless, the statement still remains

and parra....really LOL, so your only theory you have to why wsw have more season tickets than your own club and have to put other members on the waiting list is because their owner is secretly buying up the spots himself.....might wanna check that tin foil hat on your head before it starts eating into your brain you idiot :_<>
