strange then that they decided to re-invest and then re-invest again with the FFA Cup which isn't a summer sport. Whoops there goes that theory.leeroy*NRL* wrote:Fox Sports only ever invested in the A league
Because it would fill there schedule / summer with some sport...
at a very low budget way of doing it...

I believe the competition starts in May or April, so nice try
Round of 32 starts in July
So again the point is clearly you were wrong

So no comments on the EPL TV deal vs the NRL?
So clearly as this deal is worth way more than 4 times the NRL deal, under the NRL fan boys reasoning that means the NRL is an amatuer comp.

let alone before rd 32
how many games did they show live out of the hundreds that were played ?

Re: the Gummy Sharks back at school
The EPL beats every sport in the UK clown. It always has and always will. Beats probably every other UK code put together.post_hoc wrote:by your reasoning then, the NRL should have the same value as the EPL. After all you claim the NRL is the dominant sport here.AFLsforPussies wrote:If AFLs number 1 league is better than NRLs. the West Coast Pirates
there to run the Western Farce & the Perth Gloryholes outta town you gibbering tosser
the VFL have 1 team in Sydney that can't outrate the telle tubbies on TV there
the other is the most irrelevant professional sporting franchise in the nation
their team in Brisbane
are
20 million in debt & getting further in debt each year
anything else you need to be corrected on you lying piss flap
Both your sport s are shit. My sport has nearly 1000 pro leagues world wide and the AFL's 1 league is better than both of yours.
The super league is as low as darts and league 2 in the UK. What's the avg attendance again? 7,000? Lmfao
RUGBY LEAGUE GRAND FINAL
STATE OF ORIGIN 1
STATE OF ORIGIN 2
all smash the AFL grandfinal in the TV rating???
The EPL has been the biggest comp in the UK as long as anyone can remember. That will never change. The fact that Superleagues broadcast is worth nearly 4 times the amount of your A league says it has much more value in viewership than your little down under amatuer league.![]()
If the A league had any real commercial value, a free to air commercial network would play money for it. And that is simply not happening.![]()
So let's do the sums
EPL $4.67 Billion over 3 years
NRL $1.02 billion over 5 years.
LOL the EPL's annual TV rights is more than than the NRL's 5 year rights.
Fuck that makes you guys look bad.
Like I said, the EPL would probably have more of a following here than your Amateur league which can't even get on a commercial network.
Then you just have to laugh at your other sport AFL. AFL can't even get a foot hold in the UK and is unknown to most.

No, you stated something, you prove it.
