The AFL used to not have sell outs much in Adelaide when they played at football park which was not a very good stadium & was about 30 min drive from the city. However since they have built Adelaide oval it has totally changed. Every Crows & Power game is sold out, its nearly impossible to get a ticket. West Coast in Perth have always sold out matches & now a 20,000 waiting list to get to games & now Freo are winning they sell out every game. In Perth they are building a 60,000 stadium in the next few years cause demand is so high to go to footy games.

The Lions should sell-out round 1 playing Collingwood at the Gabba. Collingwood have a lot of fans & things are looking up for the mighty Lions. I cant wait. I wonder if the Broncos will sell-out there first home game whoever they are playing! Time will tell

Besides the SOO and of course the grand final (which isn't a regular season game) do the NRL ever sell out a regular season game?

I know Football we normally sell out the Melbourne Derby at AAMI and often at Ethihad.
The Sydney Derby is a sell out at either location

the AFL sells out a number of games, and we are talking BIG sell outs at the MCG (am I right in assuming the Adelaide and Perth derbies sell out?) wouldn't suprise me if they sell out 5 or 6 games.

But do the NRL? I have honestly don't know.
