There is plenty of R.L Players that could play and make the switch
it is just after playing one game all your life and making the switch is hard as your not used to the flow of play.

Get the best rugby league players up against the AFL Boys for 40mins in a game of rugby league
and we will see how they will go..

Im pretty sure they will kill them dead

Making them look totally stupid.

I really don't think an AFL team could complete a set.
as if you drop the ball forwards Its a Knock on. LOL

WOW I would love to watch this happen..

2 RL players have been amongst the highest paid, played at the highest level ,praised from AFLol media ,coaches etc & did this with next to no background in the sport.
Lol
Says a lot when players from other sports just walk into a team .

Still waiting for a fumbler to walk into a RL team & play at NRL level.

Lol

Says aLot about both sports .

Did you know that the AFL ball is actually heavier than a league ball? Not by much but enough. Also AFL balls are not as pointed making drop kicks harder to do. League balls are made for the drop kick. AFL balls are not. Thurston would need to adjust. Not only that could he be accurate on the run rather than off a step?

On the quarters, maybe, but the quarter and three quarter time breaks aren't that long if I remember.

I'd love for league to have six points for a conversion. But that's not happening. Such a value for a goal in AFL makes missing actually an exercise better avoided.
Even with the difference in ball weight and shape Thurston would still be able to adjust to Kicking AFL goals. The larger goal area and minus the threat of being tackled during a kick would actually make it easier for him.

Yet AFL players are terrified to even attempt Rugby League lol. Get some of your best and see how they go trying to tackle someone 100kg running full speed at them. Lets see how these AFL uncos go actually trying to catch a ball.
So few of them seem to be able to catch, they just fall over each other and drop the ball constantly like the unskilled fumbling morons that they are.

Hmm NRL players failing in the AFL seems to be based on fact looking at hunts and folaus careers in the AFL

But AFL players failing in the NRL seems based on heresay with no actual evidence behind j doubt any AFL player would be interested in playing in the NRL, they'd be earning pennies in the struggling game of RL instead of earning millions in AFL

Pennies, Sonny Bill was on a million a year.
AFL players just could not take the hits you get in tackles. They would get so many injuries being so tall and lanky.

Save a thought for waider Dave, 50 and unemployed with no super. A lesson to us all!
