Anyone surprised by the Bulldogs form?
Sitting atop of the ladder and after being down by 37 points at quarter time last night, the dogs turned it on, kicking 18.9 to St Kilda's 6.6 - thrashing the Saints. Does the form of the Dogs so far in 08 surprsie you? How far can they go this season?

i reakon the dogs have been brewing up for a good season over the last few years but friday nights game agaist the saints was a disgrace on st kildas part. although im glad st kilda lost really being claimed as one of the tops sides and letting a team topple you like that they need a kick up the backside. i wish the doggys a good year tho!!! still no match for the cats!!! hahaha

I am very surprised with the Doggies! Their year was 2006 when then were on fire in the last half of the year. 2007 form was pretty ordinary, so I tipped they would end up int he bottom 4 before the season started. Being a Richmond fan, I recall Richmond a few years ago winning 5 out of the first 6 games....then only won 1 more game for the rest of the season. Not saying the Bulldogs are going to do the same, but all good things come to an end........except for Geelong who will probably win the flag again this year. The next best teams are still a fair way behind them.

The Doggies are traveling well. I tipped them against the Sainters, and have seen their skill and fitness levels in top peak since the start of the season. I think back in round 1 when they fought hard for the win against Adelaide, which surprised me, is testament to how their first half of the season was going to pan out. I only hope for the club and supporters that they can continue to post wins on the board for the entire season and not peter out. A tough team to beat!
