Womens Grid Iron Oceania will go up against the A league Soccer next season

Post by AFLsforPussies »

Some people scoff at this sport, but it is said to be the fastest growing womens sport on the planet. The 2015/16 summer season is said to be all systems go with possible new teams competing from NZ and Adelaide as well as a new TV network signed up which is being kept under wraps.

Will be interesting to see the LFL going up against the A league. I know the LFL had healthy crowds last time the season was on. Grid Iron will just be another sport to watch in summer apart from Cricket, Tennis and Football.

Yeah it could be a fox channel for all we know. That would be disappointing for free to air viewers.

Yeah maybe it is not taken seriously but I can't help but enjoy watching this sport

Starting off crowds of 3000 is not bad for a new sport either I think.
