The Panthers centre is believed to have been escorted from the Club Forster venue by security after an argument broke out with other patrons on Friday evening.
The NRL confirmed its integrity unit was investigating and had asked the club for a “full explanation”.

Panthers boss Warren Wilson said the club had been informed of an incident.
“We’re told it was minor and that Jamal is innocent,” Mr Wilson said.
“We’ll have a chat to him when he returns to training and then make a report to the NRL.”
A spokesman for Club Forster, a popular social club in the coastal town of Forster offering meals, refreshments, gaming and entertainment, would not comment on the incident.
It is not the first time the former Origin player, known as one of the most destructive runners in the game, has been involved in controversy.
He was temporarily stood down from the Panthers side following an alcohol-related incident in May. That particular misdemeanour was believed to have happened on the Gold Coast while the team had a bye.

The club previously said Idris was stood down to deal with “personal issues”, including alleged alcohol abuse and depression, before he returned to the field in June.
The 24-year-old has admitted to struggling with personal demons since making his NRL debut for the Bulldogs as a youngster in 2008 but recently declared he had turned a corner.
“My life is good now,” Idris said in September. “I’m off the roller-coaster ... the way I was living was bordering on insanity ... it was just self-destructive. When I was experiencing the good times, I’d be waiting for them to end instead of enjoying myself. I always was waiting for the low.”
