to start off proceedings i'd like to install two members into the welchers hall of shame.
1: Beaussie in the Beaussie versus Raiderdave first GWS v Sydney match being a sellout affair.
In this one beaussie shamed himself as administrator and member on the site. He got very excited and bleeted to all that itd be a sellout and was willing to bet anything. RD took up thwe offer and put the bet on the table. Low and behold gws v swans couldnt even pull half a sellout on their first match. Beaussie welched in very poor weak fashion, calling on his biased mod xman to defend him as he knew full well he had no legs to stand on. Xman, like a dopey trooper came in and provided one of the most botched up defences of all times, making a fool of himself and more of a fool of the cowardly beaussie who waited in the shadows, not posting for months.
2: Phelpsy aka fred versus King-Eliagh in the suns to make the 8 debacle
This was a debacle of epic proportions where we had a member who changed his username and publicly admitted to doing so in order to welch on a poorly thought out bet. It is perhaps one of the most public display of self enforced split personality syndrome we are likely to see on these boards. And the poor bastard owned up to it! It was quite hilarious to see this member truly felt that by publicly switching usernames to pretend it wasnt he who had made the bet was in his head a masterful masterstroke of a mastermind
Unfortunately his plan was also based on a phony belief that yours truly had welched The irony was all over the place and deadset hilarious and something of the likes we may never have the pleasure of laughing at again as this member is very unique. It is worth noting he also stalks other members and proudly states he wore a pink backpack to baseball training when he was a teen.
