Swans v Hawks

Post by Beaussie »

Everything I've read this week does not provide me with much confidence that the Swans are going to try and win against the Hawks on Sunday. Comments from the coach to the players suggest the Swans don't care if they win or lose and will merely be experimenting. With 7th or 8th position on the ladder assured and one week out from finals, I'm not even sure it's worth going on Sunday to the SCG.

I'm not sure what I should be feeling here as 7th or 8th will determine who the Swans play in the first week of finals. Hope I'm wrong but the Swans in the finals does not instill confidence in me. Should I just be happy my team made the finals?

haha i havnt heard that but if the cats had that attitude i'd feel the same way!!! maybe the swannies are trying to finish abit lower in the eight so they play easier teams? it may be strategic so they sneak their way up?

I suspect that may well be the plan. I guess we will find out on Sunday afternoon. In any case, another loss before the finals is not exactly what I would have thought is the best preparation for September action.

I still can't get over the result yesterday. I'm actually feeling confident again about the Swans in the finals. Bring on the Pies.

Beau, as much as I think you'll win this week - you'll go out in week 2 because I expect you'll meet the Eagles.

Oh please, not the Eagles again. What am I saying, Sydney needs to get over the Pies before I even contemplate a trip to Subiaco.
