probably because the BBL only lasts for 6 weeks and this year it will only clash with the a-league for 4 weeks

our competition runs alongside the nrl and AFL for longer than that at the end of our season

so as you can clearly see...we are definitely shivering in our boots....the thought of our national league that runs for 6 months in a year going up against a novelty 6 week cricket tournament god what are we gonna do!!!!!
