we've already put clubs in perth, adelaide, central coast, wellington where the nrl does not exist...even a second melbourne team

looks like the nrl has some catching up to do

but hey it goes both ways! our 3 folded clubs vs the 9 RL clubs shows that we've still got a looooong way to catch you guys as well!

at the very least, you wont see clubs throwing away their history by merging with other clubs...a ridiculous and plastic thing to do in the first place

At least we lost ours in a hostile take over from a beast in the world media in Rupert Murdoch that pays for all these sports including any or all of your favorites, and Kerry Packer who ruled Australia in his day. RL fought against the beast that swallowed all before it when it was going to shaft everyone in the game and steal the rights for peanuts, little he knew, Packer got the pay TV rights for peanuts anyway, infact, he didn't even pay peanuts, he paid nothing, some clubs were made up from this Murdoch empire war and were sacrificed as quick as they came damaging in the long term, outposts across Australia while other older established clubs fought tooth and nail to stay and play the game. If you think that's funny, you and your mates are a real bunch of arseholes.

Both were trying to screw RL and the RL people running the game at the time screwed themselves for giving away the pay TV rights for nothing (before we even had pay TV) like a bunch of amateur drunks meeting a few "mates" at a big rich establishment.

Wellington is a place where RL has been played for 100 years, NRL games are often played there along with test matches.

They have tried a few times to get in, they'll have a team shortly.
