Western Sydney Wanderers - 1 game away

Post by post_hoc »

Massive game on the weekend, Wanderers hold a slight advantage, but it is going to be a very tough Final. The current situation suits the Wanderers set up, absorb the attacks and hit on the counter, if we snag a goal especially early it will change the dynamic of the game in a big way. An early goal the other way will be hard, Al Hilal have a huge supporter base, 60,000 odd fans, very very tough

An amazing story for a club less than 3 seasons old, Premiers Plate, 2 Grand Finals and now the Asian Champions League Final, know one thought it was possible, know one dreamed it was, going to be a very early morning, but so looking forward to it.

 you're not wrong there dave. But I think you're selling it a tad short just saying the 'majority'. Considering they attracted a measly 114k viewers on a Saturday eve during prime time I think we can safely say they wont attract more than 75k during the wee hours of Sunday morn. So. Lets work out the actual majority of Australians who don't give a stuff about the ouchy ouchy ball game on the weekend.

75,000 divided by 23,130,000 = 0.0032
0.0032 times by 100 = 0.32
100 minus 0.32 = 99.68.

So hmmm its 99.68% of aussies who couldn't give two shits about this supposedly "massive" game :_<> :-({|= :_<>

And you guys struggle to get 12,000 people to a game played at 3pm on a weekend.

Sorry but we get 75k people watching a game on pay TV at 4.30am on a Sunday, I will be a very happy man, because i know millions will be watching worldwide, something your little sport could only dream of.

As for mistakes wow, Pot, Kettle, but if that is the best you can do then I KNOW you guys have nothing LOL.

Happy Days, oh Happy days, 10's of millions of people around the world know who the Wanderers are, and you are stuck here thinking we are small fry? lol, Happy days of happy days

The sokka boy has a crack at a team who he says can't get 13k on a Saturday whilst struggling yet his team while winning struggle to average 14k, wow, how dumb.

oh sorry I should ask what are your ratings on a Sunday afternoon on Fox? 149,000 for Parra versus Raiders, so let us see you are saying half the number of people will be watching the Wanderers play at 4.30 am than watched two teams in the supposed best Rugby League comp in the world on an afternoon. LOL shall we do 'your maths' on that

149,000 divided by 23,130,000 = 0.0064
0.0064 times by 100 = 0.64
100 minus 0.64 = 99.36

99.36% of Australians couldn't give be bothered in watching two teams in the biggest Rugby League comp in the world one lazy afternoon in Winter.

In the end, pretty similar figures to the Wanderers, but we play at 4.30am.

oh yea and we will have millions more world wide, Parra v Raiders had two blokes in a pub in London trying to find the Darts on TV

So sad that you have no other window through which to view the world other than Australian TV audiences, how sad you limit yourself to such a small number.

I am more than happy to look at the world wide audience, after all we are part of the world, oh wait sorry Football is part of the world, Rugby League is 2/5'ths of bugger all
