Melbourne storm if anything have been consistent whether you'll admit it or not, they have been around the 13-16k average for years now. That's more than the Melbourne Heart average, and the Heart get a nice boost when they host the Victory bumping their crowd average to well over double what it would be otherwise.

The Storm are there to stay and it burns you, I have always backed the storm being in the comp, even when they cheated my club out of the 09 premiership.

The storm average is more impressive when you think about it because at least the NRL, unlike the A League sokka plays in Winter and in direct competition with its biggest Australian rival, not hide away in Summer spouting crap and saying, look at me, look at me, I'm relevant too!

yes consistent...

consistently shit

you spend every day moaning at the wanderers bandwagon because they win a lot of games

but the storm have won trophy after trophy and have shown no improvement whatsoever off the field

melbourne city finished last, second last and last in the last 3 seasons...a true sleeping giant once they start winning some games

their opening home crowd already battered the storms! looks like there is going to be 2 soccer teams in melbourne with higher averages than the storm this year

This sokka boy is confused, never ever has RL been big in Melbourne, it's had a pro team for 15 years, sokka on the other hand has had the AFL with its foot on its throat in Melbourne for 100 years knowing they couldn't let it get out of control, that's why you see crowds all through Australia soccer histoty in Melbourne having some cracking attendances, it's part of victorias sporting framework more than anyone here will ever admit, that's why soccer in vic gets support, people have grown up supporting the code since their grand parents moved there. Soccer is much the same in NSW without the RL having their foot on soccers throat, never has because both games have been played in may places for 100 years. Heck even in places like France there have been Massive double headers games in places like Marseilles over the years.

You can rant and rave about soccer being this and AFL being that all over Australia, the fact is, Rugby League is the youngest football code and it just muscled in in NSW and QLD over your dopey sports, that's what happened. Get over it, the country has chosen RL in one half, AFL the other half with Union and Soccer having niche bases.
