they are similar memberships to what the MCG has with the MCC, which has around 17k seats out of the 100k seats

for my team Essendon to play a home game out of Etihad, including the Essendon season members at the ground the capacity is only around 44k. As they had a few sellouts last season and the attendance was around that 44k mark

so if the A league get 45k or the 47k as expected, it will be pretty much a sell out. all available tickets sold

these big stadiums selling stadium memberships to super rich people who don't mind paying 2-3,000 a year for access to every code year long, but if they only have vested interest in 1 team or 1 code then it effects attendances

the only reason why the nuffies don't understand this concept is because they did not sell out any stadium all year long in the NRL till the grand final
