Yep, lets have a look.

Central Coast average under 10k, Wellington under 10k, Adelaide between 9k and 12k over the years, Perth anywhere from 7k to 12k, Melbourne heart averaging under 10k, north queensland fury averaged well under 10k, gold coast fc averaged will under 5k, Newcastle will have crowds under 10k as they always do each year, Brisbane against lower teams will have under 10k as usual. WSW aren't immune from crowds under 10k and either are Sydney FC.

The only club in your whole fucking League that generally doesn't get a crowd under 10k in the year is the Melbourne Victory you pussheaded spew bag.
coulda woulda shoulda

stick to the facts homie

gcu, northqueensland? thats cute!

what were adelaide rams averages? the chargers? steelers? bears? magpies? didn't you have a team in perth too, or not? O wait

we have teams in cities that has no nrl team, so perth can average 8 or 9k all they want, it's still better than the nrl's average of 0  , no wait it's fine, you can add in the annual charity match you play there once a year

in cities where a-league and nrl teams co-exist, you lose out 3 times out of 6, soon to be a 4th club added to that list with heart getting it's new start as city, their opening game attendance already higher than the storms

not bad for the little guy

But but but but but, what about Adelaide rams and all the others from 20 years ago, they got crowds 20 years ago your lot are only getting now.

Matter of fact Dick Tracey, at the same time Adelaide and the rest were in the SL wars, your sokka lot was imploding out here again with sub 2k crowds, didn't Parramatta host the last NSL GF in which the Power played (I watched) and well under 15k showed up?

Stick to what you know which is nothing, because when you bring up the past you are wrong, and when we are dealing with the moment, you are falling short, so what in the world makes you think you can predict what's going to happen in the future seeing as you have no bloody idea of the past?

As they say history has a bad habit of repeating itself, tell me numb nutz, how many times has sokka in Australia IMPLODED now?

Cool, so where's the small crowds you were going on about, you know, under 10k mr mouth?

My team has been a rabble on and off the field, your sokka lot has been given a free ride all the way to the top and still my teams crowds are bigger.
my team given a free ride? we had protests during games last season asking our board to sack our coach and his staff + haven't had a competitive team for nearly 5 years now

i know you're uneducated but please do some research before you spout rubbish

this year is our comeback year  :\:

lost our most influential player - a world wide icon - a man with a bank ballance 20 times larger than any nrl player, fired back and came out with record membership numbers and record attendances :afro:

what's going to happen with parra without hayne? that's the question folks

you are correct sir! let's talk about the present!

and the presents dictates the a-league has teams in perth, adelaide and the central coast - no nrl teams in sight besides the ol' annual "blockbuster" matches they'll play there every once in a while! fark, throw in welly even! go nix! 2 teams in melbourne, both now - not just one, but both - running the storm out of the place

tis' a sight to behold, a watershed moment :compress:

don't cry to ya mum when i bring up the plethora of rugby league teams that folded over the years after you think you can do the same with the fury and gold coast ya puss

Stop changing the subject.

You had to be smart and drag up crowds under 10k, now that you have been shown up again that it is your code that gets more sub 10k crowds in Australia than any other professional major sport, you don't want to play that game anymore.

it's all about foresight homie

we have subject A and B here

subject A drew 32 sub 10k crowds, but continues to call itself the most popular code in the country
subject B drew 40 or more sub 10k crowds, but is content and understands that it sits at #3/#4

can you imagine the AFL going through round averages as low as 12-13k with teams drawing 5k and 6k littered all over the place? After thorough examination i believe that is why they, and everyone else with a brain concede that they are the top dog in this country while the delusional - aka yourself - believe the opposite

and hey - you changed the subject first! we were discussing crowds in the sydney area! you lost that battle quickly and had to move the goal posts ya cunning littly gremlin you!!!

Back in 1995 I think it was, the strikers held a GF and got 40k, took them 20 years to get another crowd like that and the strikers are dead.

the strikers aren't dead, they still play in the npl

even perth got 40k crowds in the nsl

it didn't last forever hence why it folded ya dummy

the a-league started a fresh, mostly new clubs, a professional format -rather than the semi pro one of the nsl, new tv deal, new target market, new everything. no idea what relevance the nsl has to this discussion since it died a horrible death from mismanagement at the top, all the way down to the bottom. the a-league has nothing to do with it

maybe the A league needs to start lobbying & scrounging off the government for handouts, or perhaps start investing in poke filled leagues clubs for survival.
just like the NRL has done!
whats funny the A league has Teams in most parts of capital cities & the NRL does not :\:
Australian sporting sponsorship
AFL excess of $50m
A league $30 million plus
ARU $27 million
NRLOL $25 million

and she still changes your nappies as well!
