Re: Fight Club - Football Crowds
I never agreed with what he said about parra stadium either, the eels can get 19,500 in there yet the ws derps sell out at anywhere around 16k, are they all fat slobs or something, is that why the trust is putting another 4,000 seats in, for those fat ws derps?
Maybe they should replace the seats completely for this lot when they play and have mini trampolines installed so they can go to bouncy town and get some exercise while they're at it.

wsw vs sfc got 19.5k at pirtek and it was deemed a sell outParraEelsNRL wrote:I never agreed with what he said about parra stadium either, the eels can get 19,500 in there yet the ws derps sell out at anywhere around 16k, are they all fat slobs or something, is that why the trust is putting another 4,000 seats in, for those fat ws derps?

the eels got 19.5k 2 years ago and that was also deemed a sell out, but what's your excuse for the other 2k seats not being used? or does the same not apply to your sport?
and like ive said before, be grateful that that wanderers are propping up parramatta stadium. if it wasn't for them that place would of got no upgrades and that's a fact. bless them

My team fills the seats you fucking r$****, that's the whole point, when my team gets a sell out, it's a genuine sell out, when your lot (which is fucking not your lot, u follow FC and AFL for fucks sake) gets a sell out anywhere around 16k yet you just admitted they have had 19,500 once.
You are a fucking drongo!

19.5k in a 21.5k seater is not 'filling all the seats'ParraEelsNRL wrote:My team fills the seats you fucking r$****, that's the whole point, when my team gets a sell out, it's a genuine sell out, when your lot (which is fucking not your lot, u follow FC and AFL for fucks sake) gets a sell out anywhere around 16k yet you just admitted they have had 19,500 once.

looks like you have the same issues as the wanderers

the eels haven't had a crowd in excess of 20k there for 5 years not to mention the 2 highest attendances at the place since the wanderers were created were WSW games...not eels
16k isn't a sell out because there are only 16k people there. it's a sell out because there are no tickets left available to the public...let that sink in first before you post again homie

Re: Fight Club - Football Crowds
21.5k again, here we fucking go, when cornered, head to the nearest lie, again.
Show me dipstick, when was the last time Parramatta stadium had over 21,000 in it seeing as the upgrades over the last decade has seen it reduced to under 20k in which you have stated multiple times and probably even in this thread it seats 19.5k at capacity which your team wsw, oops no not your team, but the one you secretly love has managed to get to 19.5k once in its lifetime against the lot you supposedly support.
Fuck, I wish Bea or wookie would ban you, you can't be this fucking stupid, you have to be sharing the username with a bunch a fucking morons as you have no idea what you post from one post to the other.
I'm going to keep an eye on your posting style you little ***** and when I see what I'm looking for, I'll be sending a few pms because I think you're a c0ckhead who can't fight his own battles, thus you need to be removed so you harden up a bit sweetheart and learn how to fight your own wars.

21.5k is the official capacity claimed by Pirtek...i'm gonna beleive them over some yobbo from the gong that hasn't been to the place since the 'barbed wire days'

the wanderers got 19.5k once in their history...if you want to give them some slack you can say twice since they also got 19.3k - since they've been created the eels haven't hit 19.5k....am i reading into someone here? i hope not for your sake

You don't deny I see.
We can all tell, it's ok you fraud.
Why would I be mad when the only place the A League has got a better crowd for their opening weekend is in Melbourne?
Even places that have no NRL team got a bigger crowd than what a home sokka team did last night.
The same will happen today.
We can all tell, it's ok you fraud.

Re: Fight Club - Football Crowds
Spin, how can it be spin when it is fact?
The NRL's first game of the season in Sydney was a Thursday night and it was wet, they got 28k, the A Leagues first game in Sydney this season was last night and they got 25k, it was a saturday in clear weather.
The Central coast hosted its biggest game of the season last night as well, they got just over 10k, the NRL had Manly playing up their this season and it was a wet night again and they managed 14k.
As I said, the only place that got a bigger crowd was Melbourne, lucky it wasn't the heart playing aye.

Yeah maybe, it's the games after that count don't they, you can have a good opening but if you don't follow it up week after week it ain't going to help much. Well that is unless you are the Heart, they get their average yearly boost from Victory fans don't they? I have seen some very small crowds posted for the Heart over the last couple of seasons.

Re: Fight Club - Football Crowds
yup the derbys do cover up a lot of their cracks. i think it would still be harsh to remove them from them since they are their home games but objectively looking at it, the derbies boosted their average considerably or else it would of been below the phoenix(i think). ive seen them play infront of 4-5k crowds a lot especially in the middle years of their existence but last season was OK, this season should be betterParraEelsNRL wrote:Yeah maybe, it's the games after that count don't they, you can have a good opening but if you don't follow it up week after week it ain't going to help much. and yeah, shit could hit the fan, villa could get injured and they could go back to their usual sucking and lose all the time, the fans would turn away. but all they need to do is do OK. making the finals isn't unreasonable for them
i mean fuckn aye, we played them yesterday and to be honest they outplayed us for most of the game, they're better than they were last season
all of this attests to what a shambles of a club they were on and off the pitch before manchester city bought them, which is why their is a lot more hope and hype running around the place now than previously. for once they look like an actual club.

Sydney FC
Did you know that the Wanderers have the two highest attendance games this year at Pirtek?
I wonder if it will be three after Saturday night?
