there has never, in history, been a crowd of 40,000 or more for the WCC in england...busted! noob!

the last time they even had a crowd of more than 30k was 5 years ago, and coincidentally, stopped playing the games at elland road (a soccer ground) and moved it to a smaller stadium because no one was showing up

as far as the wankers go...you do realize they play in a 20k all seater? right?

You do realise wigan and places like that have grounds of only 25k at most, are you r3tarded, good for one lot but not good for the other. At least the RL sides in England moved their games to bigger stadiums (if need be) so more people could attend, not like that lot in WS.

leeds used to play their big games at elland road - a 40k seater

but don't do that anymore and only play at headingley which is half that size

as far as the second point goes, you already know that i agree with that.

unless they can get out of their contract with parramatta stadium or unless it can be altered then it won't change unless they meet sfc during the finals

Leeds have only ever played a handful of club games at Leeds Uniteds ground, stop talking shit.

Leeds RL play at Headingley and have done since 1889 you boring make believe liar, here, have another history lesson instead of talking shit.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Headingley_Stadium
Leeds St. Johns, who were later to become Leeds Rugby League Football Club then Leeds Rhinos, moved to Headingley in 1889 and built Headingley stadium. Since then the stadium has staged more than 40 international matches and countless domestic finals. The ground now has a capacity of 21,000.[14] It is the second largest stadium in Leeds after Elland Road.

Headingley hosted rugby league's first ever Challenge Cup final in 1897.

In the 1930s, major developments took place on two sides of the rugby ground. The South Stand was completed in 1931, with some of the work being carried out by club players, while the old wooden North Stand was burned down during a match against Halifax on 25 March 1931. By the end of 1932, a new North Stand had been completed.

The record attendance at Headingley was 40,175 for the rugby league match between Leeds and Bradford on 21 May 1947. Undersoil heating was installed in 1963 but has since been removed due to ongoing problems, and floodlights were installed in 1966. The 1970 Rugby League World Cup final between Great Britain and Australia was played at the stadium before a crowd of 18,776.

The third and deciding Test of the 1978 Ashes series was played at Headingly before a crowd of 30,604.

New changing rooms were added in 1991.

Headingley only hosted one match of the 1995 Rugby League World Cup, held in England and Wales to celebrate the centenary of rugby league in England. Host nation England defeated rugby league minnows South Africa 46–0 in front of 14,041 fans.
They have used Leeds Uniteds ground for Internationals and a WCC game or two. WOW, they used a bigger stadium in their home city for a wcc game so that must mean they play there every week according to our resident AFL/sokka troll.

The crowd at central park

Was.. over 40, 000 .. you dribbling ****** :(/ :_<>

The only reason elland road is no longer used is because the deal the the Leeds city council was not suitable to the english rugby league

If Bullshit walks, you are walking turd stinking the place out with all your crap :\:

Yeah AFL so dominated NRL with it's failed world cup attempt, losing in the tv ratings against all big NRL events.
AFLs massive fail at trying to grow their game in New Zealand again was hilariously funny!! Heard everyone left the match early :_<>
So much success for AFL lol

By the way, what is with this living with mum stuff. Are you talking about your own life??? Was just finished at the gym man. I train everyday unlike soft bananas like you . :(/

I was referring to the AFL genius lol. And what the fuck are operating profits mean to non profit organisations lol You fukn idiots have no idea. Its about reach and the ability to fund it. The NRL despite spending more than they ever have on advertising and trying to entice people out of the lounge and to the game have achieved nothing.Squat, actually gone backwards. This on top of the fact that theyd have to spend ten times there operating profit :_<> :_<> to get anywhere near the infrastructure the AFL enjoys. So while you enjoy your game at quality stadia like Brookie the AFL will continue to invest in infrastructure upgrades in Perth and the gold coast to compliment the world class stadiums they already enjoy. The NRL truly a welfare class game

Having played marngrook and observed many cheese rolling events I'd have to concur. In marngrook you can roll/fumble the pill in any direction and fukk up and still get a point. One fukk up in Cheese rolling and it's over.

If you have truly played AFL then you would understand how difficult it is to take possession in a game where possession is contested. No contested ball in Rugby league, none. The only part of contested ball in rugby league has become a farce so much so there are calls to get rid of it.Personally id rather see blokes fight for a ball than wrestle but hey each to there own

I wonder if AFL will ever have international clubs :<>

Warrington Wolves
South Sydney Rabbitoes
Wigan Warriors
St George Illawarra Dragons
St Helens RLFC
Brisbane Broncos

another pointless NRl tournament where all the sides will be stacked with NRL players, just wearing different colours.
in an effort to boost their broadcast deal to try and compete with the AFL's broadcast deal consisting of just the H&A season :)))
Australian sporting sponsorship
AFL excess of $50m
A league $30 million plus
ARU $27 million
NRLOL $25 million

Well. To take possession of the ball you either pick it up or mark it. It's piss easy really. Contested possessions are a bit harder but it's not a fine tuned skill like cheese rolling is ya dumb clown. You just go in harder on the ground, follow the flight of the ball and use ur body effectively.

Jesus you guys are dumb if you think that's requiring of a high level of skill or that it is more slillful than cheese rolling
