Lets get real ive been called cock sucker, or similar comments by raider dave on a number of occasions. Im happy to delete all of stewies comments and have a chat about standards but we need to determine what the standards should be. I would love your input into this.

At the moment I think your work is fairly decent, as I said in my last pm.

Standards I reckon should be against use of racist terms, homophobic terms, mental illness terms...although mental illness is tough, I like to use delusional and the like...but autistic, ****** etc is fairly lowbrow and could be highly offensive. Also personal threats including "kill yourself already" and like references to suicide are a big no no in my book. Stewie uses these also.

That's all ive got right now but i'll make it clear on the boards of an more I think are shite.

Well I must say on the internet I find it hard to truly care. But piesman I must say, bigups. I think your approach, while imperfect (and not suggesting my approach would be perfect!) is actually doing something decent.

Except as I said b4... Grievances made in public may assist everyone in their understanding, if put intelligently. Imo this may in turn reduce the mods stress in being the 'be all and end all'/ultimate decision maker...i.e if people agree/don't argue against the grievance then you have somewhat of a consensus right?

unfortunately I don't have much time at the moment due to work commitments. However I will try to deal with it now even though I will not be able to eat lunch. I will be acting on Stewies comments very soon. I have looked though the guidelines and stewies comments do fail to met the standards set out for TFC. They will be deleted and I will talk to Stewie. The question then comes down to punitive punishment. Some of the deletions may involved your posts as well after the word ****** was reused by yourself to highlight his post. The deletion of your posts will not be a sign that you are in any way in trouble for anything.
Be aware there will probabaly have to be a new standard applied to the TFC with some comments made on both sides of the debate.

My post re AFL attire was provocative I know, however if there's enough intellect in the room I think its an interesting insight. RD's links were pretty shocking and I had no idea there would've been that many. Now I know its wrong to cast blame on the attire but this is not what I was intending. I was intending to discuss the prevalence rates in regards to 1: the fact that AFL attire is more revealing and 2: the fact AFL is a less macho sport than RL. I understand your argument regarding 'blaming women victims of rape for what they wear' but at the same time one must acknowledge the chances of being victim to such a heinous crime increase in regards to what one chooses to reveal through their (lack of) clothing. Our western perceptions of 'freedom' and 'individuality' should be challenged on these matters. This is what im after discussing although I admit im also provoking and this is not really the forum for this discussion.

Point taken, i'll pull back on these comments in the forum however...we do set a precedent here right? That being - if one cannot openly discuss this shocking matter then why can one discuss RL or marngrook rapists without being admonished? Something to think about...

as for my comments regarding raiderdave's link? Fukk yes!! It was shocking!!! I'd i recall correctly he linked/provided evidence to a substantial amount of pedophilia in relation to dodgy customers linked with AFL clubs. I was and still am concerned with the skimpy attire worn by juniors and seniors playing the sport... ... ... Why?
