Fight Club - Football TV Ratings (AFL vs NRL)

Funny I went to Ballina RSL recently and they had both NRL and AFL playing at the same time. NRL on a big screen and AFL on a smaller one and the trots or something. In an Eastern suburb RSL in Melb it was ONLY AFL - says it all really!

Funny I went to the Crown Casino in AUG last yr .& in the bar they had the NRL(think it was NEWC V CRO) on the tvs behind the bar & The AFL on the other screens.
More people were watching the NRL..
True story.
There were about 30 people in the bar & 20 were watching RL.
Does that mean anything ..Prob not,as there is a big screen on the other side of the Casino showing Fumbles & about 40 people were in the room watching.
It shows that clubs will cater to all patrons ,but it makes for good stories for the derpers.

They don't take too kindly to people who pretend to be in the Armed forces.

Yes, I agree with crapper. My experience of the Sunshine Coast is that is major nrl area. AFL pretty small but a presence. Hasting street had the AFL on as we walked up and down. Went into outback jacks to grab the end, the misses is a hawks fan and couldn't bare to watch whole game lol. A lot watching ... But a lot watching the uft? Fighting too. At dinner at bistro c a guy was singing the hawks club song lol. The beach house also had the AFL on. As a tourist area I assume lots of tourist from vic, sa, etc .
