Slash from Guns N’ Roses’ will headline NRL grand final day
Slash from Guns N’ Roses’ will headline NRL grand final day entertainment with popular US band Train
David Riccio and Naomi White

ROCK ‘n’ roll and rugby league are back with this year’s NRL grand final day set to be headlined by a Hall of Fame guitarist and a Grammy award winning band.
The Sunday Telegraph can reveal the NRL are planning to announce popular US band Train and Slash, the former lead guitarist of Guns N’ Roses, as the pre-game entertainment for the October 5 decider at ANZ Stadium.
Train, whose hits include Drops of Jupiter and Hey Soul Sister scored the US rock act three Grammy awards, will also release their seventh album next week.
The announcement of Slash to the grand final day entertainment is an obvious fit with his sizzling solo work providing the theme music for Nine’s NRL finals coverage.
The arrival of both rock acts underlines a week-long celebration ahead of the grand final, with details for fans set to be announced by the NRL in coming days.

Slash ..... And train ..... Lol .... A one hit wonder band from several years ago and slash ... Great guitarist ... If it were guns and roses ... That would be great. But slash ?
Don't get me wrong ... Tom jones is nothing great but leaves both those artists in his wake.
Let's hope the power is working this time and the Optus ball stays together.
Oh, for what it is worth, up until last few years have always liked nrl entertainment better. Remember the matching bands and such the AFL used to have lol.... Cringe worthy. And yes meat loaf was the worst.

Tom Jones wikipedia image...looks like he's close to bein 6 feet under...as meatloaf did shortly prior to his AFL gf debacle

Slash wiki image, shedding it and only a mere 25 years younger than the 74 year old Tom

Folks if the swans make it to GF I've got tickets and I'm really excited about the prospect of Tom Jones not carking it on stage but giving the audience a comedy show of meatloaf proportions. My fingers and toes are crossed but if this was on sportingbet I reckon you'd only get odds of 3-1 or sometin.
