You stated it liar.

Oh, and sokka is still irrelevant out here, their tv deal is shit, and the average crowd for the a league is a touch over 10k played in summer to get away from the big boys.

WSW will be gone in no time, another northern spirit, they won't be able to gift them a free run this year or the other clubs will start to kick up a stink. the only way is down.
WSW are at 11,767 memberships sold so far...and the comp doesn't even start for a month and sales don't die down till December. So i think it's fair to say they'll be around...for good my friend :)

and we've been over this before. You should be grateful. Without them, Pirtek was getting no upgrades while Penrith were being treated as the new hotspot for a new 40k stadium.

If they didn't have a 16.5k member cap then they would have the largest member-base in West Sydney for all codes. No lies, only facts!

The A-League's average attendance is only a couple thousand off the NRL lmfao so don't even try to dress it up any differently little one! 6/10 of the clubs have averages that would slide straight into the NRL, not to mention SFC and Victory who's attendances last year dwarfed nearly every club in 'RL Heartland'

and at the end of the day, soccer doesn't need to be #1 in any region, a healthy #2 of #3 is plenty for the game to succeed as unlike Rugby League, Soccer is a national sport and is played everywhere in this country, at every level :)

hah sue me! i was off by a couple thousand oh well!

don't let that stop you from acknowledging the other things that i have stated which are all irrefutable 100% facts

i just hope parra gets on in time to read through it all, can't imagine him being one of the 6,000 at the roosters game....

just incase he misses....

2)same with rugby league in northern england

if you think tiny clubs like the wigan warriors or st helens that struggle to draw 10k a game are even close to being as big as northern soccer clubs like manchester united, liverpool, man city, newcastle united who all sell out 60k seaters week in week out and also have a $9 billion tv deal then you are completely delusional! your rugby league clubs play in small boutique stadiums and share them with 3rd/4th division soccer clubs, the avg attendance for the union competition and the super league are atrocious vs the premier league. even the second division of english soccer dwarfs the rugby leagues in the uk

3)soccer is the national sport of south africa

the only places on the planet where league+union together are defnitely more popular than soccer is NSW, QLD, ACT, NZ, PNG and those random pacific islands. it's a footnote everywhere else

having a presence in the north of UK and south of france is not the same as being more popular than another code. unions popularity in the south of france is essentially identical to soccers popularity in brisbane - it exists but is still behind another code or code(s)
I have to disagree at least with France. The French rugby comp (forgot the name) is regarded the best in the world, other then super rugby. Do me a favour and do some research and ill give you my opinion, deal? Ok good. And teams like the lecister tigers or bath are probably more popular then their soccer counterparts

how does being the best rugby comp have any relevance in being more popular than a soccer league? attendances, sponsorship, tv all say otherwise that ligue 1 is far superior to the top 14(or 15)

the nrl is supposed to be the best rugby league comp in the world but the english football second division would laugh at its resources

leicester city fc(soccer club) averaged 24,000 last season while playing in the second division in england, they gained promotion and will be playing in the premier league where every game will sell out their 30k+ stadium

the tigers are the most well supported rugby club in the uk yet it's attendances were only 21k for last season. rugby is a long way behind soccer and dont even get started on league which is even more miniscule

You have hearsay, that's all, just like all the other shit you post about Rugby League, it's all lies.

Simply put, you're a pathetic Liar!

Why the fuck would I care what the Roosters got?

Are they part of the Parramatta eels these days huh?

Dopey flog.

So what, Parramatta are over 19,500, that's capacity, wsw lied (something sokka and AFL fans share it seems) and claimed they had to cap their memberships at 16,000 because of the Stadium capacity ........... ......................... come again :(/
sydneyfc wrote:

We have been over this before you liar, Parra Stdium is a Government owned Stadium, that along with the SFS, Newcastle, ANZ and Wollongong stadiums will all be upgraded, this was talked about years ago before the west sydney hoons came along.

That's why Parra has gone from 27,000 capacity in the mid 80's, to a 19,500 all seater now, the upgrades have already started, they started before the sokka team was even thought of, but but but, you seem to think it's because some sokka club plays there that can't sell it out, it's needs an upgrade.

You're a nut.

Parramatta eels, the current double wooden spoon team has near 20,000 members

http://membership.parraeels.com.au/

Since when is 16.5k bigger than 19,846?

Funny stuff LIAR.

Also, you say this sokka club is the biggest, yet it's smaller than just that 1 RL club, hmmmm, aren't there Four NRL clubs in that area?

The A league is no where near the NRL you lying flog, it's thousands behind a week, they don't play as many games over a season, they don't have as many teams in the comp to start with so an average is easier to get high with less teams, yet according to you, it's close :_<>

That's not even mentioning anything else like TV ratings, merchandise sales, general interest and any other aspect you'd like to bring up.

The only thing Sokka has in this country is a junior base, and that's because most of the poor kids are forced to play a pussy game because mummy doesn't like the fact she had a son and he might wanna do things that sons do, like have rough fun, but no, mummy wants little johnny to play pansyball so he won't get hurt.

Funny, when the boys balls drop, they genuinely tell mum to stay out of their sport, it's their life not yours, then they stop playing pansyball and step into the real world.

It's not even #3 let alone #2 or 1 out here where we are, derp.

It's behind Union ffs.

Come on FC, I've adnlnowledged that soccer would probably be the dominant code in the rest of France, being a healthy second in the south is not a bad thing ;) and yes, league is behind both union and soccer, but if there is a very succeceful league team in France, clearly there's some support?

Heh sorry but the whole you scratch my back and ill scratch yours shit doesn't work here matey

how can soccer be a healthy second in southern france when there are 7 ligue 1 teams in the region including a club like Marseille who's average attendance is more than 3 times larger than any rugby union club in the area and have an annual turnover of 105 million euros for the 2012-13 season, by comparison the highest earning rugby team in europe was Toulouse who recorded a 33.5 million euro turnover for 2010-11? The avg attendance for those southern rugby clubs is a good 5k behind the soccer ones.

Infact, the only city in France where a pro rugby team is outdrawing the pro soccer team is Bordeaux who are in the process of building a new stadium to replace it's current outdated one that is falling apart.

You nuff nuffs always seem to find a way to debate the impossible on here. Faced with overwhelming evidence in terms of revenue, crowds, tv audience etc etc etc, you always manage to wriggle around it like a little itsy bitsy rat.
