What are you taking about? The average attendance at a game, average ratings .... They're how people report such things. If I had a show watch by 10 people but showed it a 1000 times, would that be better than a show that was shown twice and got 10000 viewers. One would have an average rating of 5000 the other would have an average rating of 10. Man, what planet you on .... Making up categories geeez. AFL rates higher on average for their games than nrl games.

Incidentally, its a mistaken belief that the two games should simply be added together to beat the AFL whose rating is supplied via an average audience during its game. It would thus likely be more correct to take the average audience for both NRL games and see if they beat the AFL average over the same time.

one half of the NRL ratings on most Friday nights are gathered from about 9.45pm ... to 11.45pm
that's a distinct disadvantage to the NRL
& we're not even saying they're going up against each other

you cannot watch the other game in the alternate state til 2 hours after its started
that obviously affects ratings for the NRL.
