Sellout for Crows v Swans at AAMI

Post by Beaussie »

Interesting that the Showdown last week was a very disappointing crowd and far from a sellout, yet when Sydney hits town, we see a sellout - despite a live telecast on TV. I'm very worried about this game. Always hard to beat the Crows especially over at AAMI. Should be a good game though.

THE Adelaide Crows' home match with Sydney Swans is a Football Park sellout tomorrow night.

The Crows said today all tickets have been snapped up, despite it being the first Adelaide home match this season to go up against a live television coverage.

General manager of commercial operations Phil Harper said the sellout confirms that Adelaide Football Club members and supporters are the most supportive group in the AFL.

"We now encourage all members to make sure their ticket is used on Saturday night to provide their team with as much support as possible against a quality opponent in Sydney, which has competed in the past two grand finals," he said.

Clearly the better team on the night against a Sydney outfit that just could not capitalise with set shots. Very disappointed in the Swans effort tonight but that aside great game Crows. You truly deserved to win and maintain your winning record against the Swans. And how about Andrew McLeod. What a star.
