Port will only get better
If you think Port's win last weekend was good............then expect even better performances as the year goes on. Tredders kicked 7 in the SANFL today and is sure to add some forward grunt next week.

In all honesty, having watched the game, how good were the Crows tonight? Reason I ask is Sydney faces them next week and we don't tend to match up well against them. Always worried when we play the Crows.
I note the Herald Sun's footy site is reporting that Tredrea was limited to 1 goal and Brogan limped off in the second quarter and didn't return. Also goes on to say the Power went down in front of just 36,959 people - the smallest crowd in showdown history. What happened to the talk of sellout crowds in Adelaide that you talked up in another thread Grim. Very disappointing crowd for a Showdown wouldn't you agree?

Grim is worried about these crowds, I don't know whether the crowds were low because it was being played on a Saturday afternoon when the West Lakes Shopping Centre was still opened.
Usually on those days it is impossible to get any parking or access to Footy Park when West Lakes is open.
Other than that maybe Port has to look at to whether the costs to these games are too much for people to get to?
The Cows looked ok but I think Sydney should be able to deal with them.

Yes, the goal kicking was pretty ordinary. But still promising to see the scoring shots were about the same. Maybe I'm too much of an optimist, but Tredrea only kicking 1 goal means he might be inspired to kick a bag against Collingwood next week. Will be a tough match, as Port have to travel....and Collingwood are travelling pretty well at the moment. (pun intended)
