Re: AFL and cricket generate more tourism than Raiders and Brumbies in Canberra
If not a combined NT and North Queensland team, then yeah Canberra makes sense for the 20th team. Extra broadcast money would like you say, pay for it, along with lots of travelling fans to the ACT to support the local economy.

Australia’s Game confirmed again today as No. 1
Not that there was ever any doubt.
Lots more money all round with Tassie to come and further development funds for NSW/ACT and QLD, to see the game grow even further. Well done Gillon.
The $4.5 billion over seven years from 2025 - which is a long ...

Re: Rank the Codes in NSW
The Barassi Line is moving further northward in NSW. Red dots in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney and Canberra are encouraging too.

Re: The NRL is stronger here than when the Giants started’: Swans, GWS want AFL to lift its game
From the Gemba report into NRL expansion, the AFL does have more work to do in NSW and QLD.

Re: Broncos V Dolphins @ the Gabba
So how did the NRL go with the apparent sellout Gabba for Broncos vs Dolphins? Close to a capacity crowd? Nup, thousands of empty seats.

We will soon finally see the true picture with the tv ratings this year ...
