Re: Footy Crowds - 2024
Come on sook master. You know I’m right. Fumbling crowds are an outlier in world sport. Citing them and ranting that the fumbling Swans are Sydney towns most popular team doesn’t work pal.
I know you’re struggling since your raison d’être has been extinguished but please try to remain calm ...

Re: Footy Crowds - 2024
yeah good point, especially with the population of Greater Hobart sitting at 250k and not really growing.
Its not often I defend the fumbling game but I think this attendance is something of an outlier. It was between a Melb team coming last and an Adelaide team under performing. Neither side ...

Re: AFL vs NRL Club Commercial Revenues
a garbage graph as per usual from desperate fumblers reporting some things & leaving out a lot of others
The NRLs grant isn't included ( 20 mill ) or any Leagues club revenues either
Penrith as an example are at around 130 mill when everything was included for 2023
The Canb Raiders at near 100 ...

Re: Cronulla want home semi to avoid AFL finals clash and crowd embarrassment
I think when you have sell outs for most games - it’s pretty good re : finals. You can only fill what there is to fill. The giants game was not as great as it could of been but we all know the giants are struggling.
And anyway - we know crowds are a strong point for AFL and not a strong point for ...

Re: “Before we’re dead AFL will take over Rugby League (in NSW)”
Wookie had a great response to this, which i thought was well said..
Look, AFL - the league - is growing in NSW and QLD. Whether Australian football - the SPORT - is having meaningful growth outside of Auskick, might be debatable.
The AFL is not going to supplant NRL in the sporting hierarchy of ...

Re: AFL & NRL Footy TV Ratings - 2024
The target market was always going to watch. You always get a bump if Brisbane or Sydney play - the casual observers - a bit like me with Storm. Now, if you have a team from each of those markets - you’re getting twice the bump on top of target market who will watch anyway - 1 is better than two ...

Re: AFL & NRL Footy Crowds - 2024
