First two matches for the AFL in the Round outdrew the entire round of the NRL.
Already at a match average double the NRL.

Wookie gets a lot of his tv ratings from the Media Spy site. I have not seen any error reported at Media Spy? And I don’t do Twitter, perhaps you can share the details of the reported error?

If we don’t have Fox ratings, what do we really read into FTA - particularly given sat delays for fta for AFL and likely move of AFL fans to Fox cause of this ?


Theres likely to be some AFL migration to Fox, but we wont really know the siginficance thereof until we get more numbers ...

So this is absolute smashing (AFL rely to much on there Big Clashes on Thursday and Friday with Big clubs (after that its downhill)

So AFL had matches to 3 games that day for the 399k figure

Melbourne, Sydney & Adelaide had the (Kangas v Demons Clash
Perth and Sydney had the both West Coast v ...

So from the available audience numbers, the AFL had a bigger Sunday tv audience at 553,000 compared to the NRL 528,000. Got it, cheers Wookie. :thumbleft:

Haha!!! Better explain this to your mate sookie pal. He's spent the last 15 years collating and comparing ratings based on the media gold standard of average ratings. Seems like he's wasted a helluva lot of his precious time on this then lolololololololol!!!!!!!!

that Sydney gets AFL ratings of 10k to 15k for AFL matches. (which are in primetime) And have Home Teams in the comp
which most certainly helps

Last reliable city by city ratings were 2023. Without Foxtel or Kayo.
