Why Penrith versus Newcastle for Sunday game please explain.

Channel 9 Sunday match
Game between Newcastle and Penrith not down grading these teams but give me break surely the NRL could have or Channel 9 could/should have got it better. We have two good games on the Friday night, why not play one of these on the Sunday as the game of the day. What are they thinking here they could play the Storm against the Eels on Friday night. The Broncos against the Dogs on the Sunday at least both these teams are in the running for the semis. Anyone have any thoughts about this, we need more Sunday games.

it may be because of the semis coming up giving teams more recovery time

I agree with the the Manly supporter. Though channel 9 has to pick the games it covers six weeks in advance, blind Freddy could percieve that this game would not be what the viewers/fans want to see, but when it comes to channel 9 when have they done whats right for the fans?
