International Rules vs International Rugby League

40,000 for the IR series in Perth
28,000 for the RL tri-nations series in Sydney

And rugby league fans say International Rules is a joke. Funny that when you consider the crowds.

International Rules has more going for it than International Rugby League in Australia. :lol:

Well, not only are the crowds much bigger for International Rules, it seems the series also attracts more TV viewers in Australia. =D> =D> =D>

The International Football averaged 891,000 viewers, mostly in Melbourne (481,000) and the League, 887,000. Most of that was sin Sydney 461,000 and Brisbane, 331,000.
