Fremantle 13.12 (90) def West Coast 11.7 (73)
In front of a crowd of 18,886 at the Oval.
Apparently there was a major melee too, however there was no reports after the match from the umpires.

Yes a great result for the AFL in London. That crowd would be double the average Super League rugby league crowd average.

Beaussie can you stop saying "a great result for the AFL". I swear you've said it more than ten bloody times lately and im wondering if you are no longer in front of your screen but have some form of computer bug typing your stuff for you?
Also the super league gets way more than 18000 to its matches in England. I must say its a great result for rugby league in England.

You're kidding yourself if you think the English Super League averages crowds anything above 9,000 - 10,000.
Bearing that in mind, a crowd of almost 19,000 is a fantastic result for the AFL in London.
