A country AFL player has been banned for life from playing the mess. But in what is modus operandi for the fumbling game no one knows why. The local league and presumably AFL house have said the alleged indiscretions were so bad they didn't want to repeat them. WTF????????? The local newspaper asked what happened and were given 'no comment' from the AFL. The ABC got onto the story and got the same treatment.
In what world does an offender get to hide behind his actions by the governing authority???? A rapist? Nope. A murderer? Nope. A drug dealer? Nope. An AFL player? Yep!!! If you play AFL and commit some offence so bad that you are banned for life you then get it covered up by the governing body.
What a game. What morals and ethics do AFL people have?? To protect the brand they cover up whatever the behaviour was that led to a life time ban. The game's brand is more important than honesty and truth.
This is cowardice writ large folks. This is the AFL. What a game.
