Length of games

Some rule changes with ain to shorten length of each game. Some are minor - but the last touch out of bounds rule I am not sure about. Anyway - the one thing they never mention -for obvious reasons, but is the biggest contributor to game length - is the 30 seconds they take between goals to allow adds to be played.

you could prob get it down to 20 seconds>> to get every player back into position>>
but FREDDY that 30 second break is how the AFL get big dollars. Its a luxury to have that many sports do not.

Oh yeah totally agree = the AFL get paid handsomely for that 30 seconds no doubt - but doesn't detract from that being by far the biggest contributor to lengthening the average game time since it came in.

Getting rid of the score reviews will save a lot of timeā¦.make it play on when kicking backwards and marking outside the forward 50, that will save time too.

shortening of breaks would help alot..
quarter time, three quarter time.
Half time could be reduced quite significantly
but yes, in a high scoring game, after each goal in add's up that is for sure.
