not really. The main differences for Fox were in the saturday/sunday coverage, not the the thursday/friday matches. especially early in the season.

That is partly true Sooksie. However since the new ratings method has been used RL has closed the FTA gap to nothing, nil and zilch. Infact as you have kindly pointed out the NRL outrates the AFL on FTA on Thursdays this year.

As such I would predict RL to have many many more wins on Thursdays and Fridays than in the past. And of course it will continue to flog the fumbling game on weekends.

Have a great Easter Sooks.

The thing I have tried to highlight Tez , is ... the NRL's FTA ratings are up considerably on last year ... for no apparent reason other then ... the codes popularity continues to grow unabated

now if STV ratings are on the same trajectory ( speculative until we see data ) .. then we are defs up 4-2 on Thursdays

Yep. The game is definitely flying at the moment. I think the fumble fans thought the new FTA ratings method would be an advantage to them. But it turns out RL is at least on par on Thurs. and Fri. and flogs 'em on the weekend. Then add in Fox and the margin is even greater if the trend of previous years continues.

Good Friday

and it was a.... good Friday

for the NRL

afternoon games head to head against the derps & stumbles , national coverage
all Sydney V all Melbourne
both games blow outs , so not much for the neutrals ..

473K on Ch 9 for the NRL
438K on Ch 7 for the singlets & misses

about 100K plus win to the NRL when STV is included

the night NRL game from Brisbane
577K

no NSW teams playing
very good numbers , very good for the nations most watched sport

Pity we can’t know what pay tv figures are. Can’t even guesstimate due to changes in circumstances from last year. I missed Thursday nights ratings - I’ll scroll back,

can't wait for the metro breakdown
On the ratings network that the advertisers and networks don’t even believe in. AFL got more in the latest broadcast deals?
they included about 50 million in contra PA & Telstra workers scratching their balls at Marvel Stadium for 50 million PA

the NRL WILL surpass that figure easily in their next deal

another
silver medal for Australias 2nd biggest sport
Yet the AFL get more, yes?

Why can’t they just release all the ratings ? It’s annoying.

it seems all the changes to ratings reporting fwed... co incidentally favour the fumbling mess from Vicdumoh
every one of them

from metro city break downs exposing the lie that derpball is going well in NSW & QLD
to the huge , enormous .... cavernous gap in STV ratings to the NRL

so

lets just kill that shall we 8-[
