I mean the AFL had more people attend over the season than the NRL and Superleague combined. Like its not even close.

No, because thats a fundamental misunderstanding of how these bodies work.

AFL isnt needing money to buy assets to secure its financial future. It did that 8 years ago.
It can afford to distribute more money back to clubs and states as well as its own operations.

Last year was amazing - I’m still floating after that. But yes, the nature of the game is that these things can happen given the higher scoring that usually happens in AFL I guess.

I remember posts from. Long long time ago where AFL was bagged for being the same teams in finals or grand finals - I think KE - but he was just trolling of course - I sometimes think what knots he would turn himself into to try and explain the same grand finalist in 5 years. But he is gone now I guess (see my bi- line lol).
