So the NRL's last Las Vegas match got more than double the crowd of the AFLs last China Match and NZ match combined. What a complete embarrassment to the AFL.
It really shows you just can't sell a lemon to other countries.
No wonder AFL is very hesitant to try other overseas markets after such embarrassing figures. Not only that AFL's attendances declined with each game in these countries.

If the AFL can get 10000 thousand in NZ and China without even trying then that figure is great.
Now if the AFL gave both countries a 100 % commitment those figures would be massive.
Big future for the AFL to grow in these areas .
The key is commitment, stop wasting money on the surplus NM type clubs.and spend in NZ.

The AFL could spend 10 times the amount the NRL is spending in the U S in China & NZ, the results would still be the same.
There just isn't a fan base or a market available for AFL in other countries.. Ireland would probably be the only small hope AFL could get some kind of following outside Australia
