and completely fucked their week 1 finals up      :(/ :(/ :(/

the higher ranked teams always fill the earlier time slots in the stumbles n bumbles finals
always
giving them the maximum amount of time to recover should they go down in week 1
makes sense

except when the game is a game involving their Sydney teams apparently
:-k

The misses n giggles are running scared of the NRL in Sydney & weren't prepared to lose a showdown on Thursday or Friday night & instead , hoped for some clean air at 3.20 on Saturday afternoon 8-[
:hmm:

This means 6V7 is on the Friday night
unprecedented
the NRL

in the heads of the fumblers.......... again

I think if you wanted to get the best exposure you’d play the Sydney game in the best time slot where it isn’t up against the dominant code. It would be silly not to. I’d think it silly of the nrl to play a storm final up against and AFL game in Melbourne .

best exposure .. or the integrity of the final series ?
theres a reason the NRL plays their finals including storm ones in Melb in an order that benefits the sides that finish higher regardless of which city they're played in or when
NRL fans have called for the NRL to give the Storm clean air for finals where ever possible , but the NRL refuses to compromise the integrity of series & the Storm play finals in Melb based on the position they finish in no matter what the AFL are doing & that is absolutely the right thing to do

but
the other mob, the AFL has caved ...again .... & changed their order because they believe they'll lose some exposure to the powerful NRL if they didn't...
that compromises the series from the get go
The Swines if they lose that Sat final will have just 6 days to prepare for their next final when they should have had 8 days as the minor premiers
wow
knee jerk much

You and the point need an introduction
As minor premiers they earnt the right to have the longest break after week 1 should they lose , the AFL has always rewarded their minor premiers this way ,
but not this year
why?
because they won't go up against the NRL on Thursday or Friday night ... & as a result stuffed the finals up ... in an attempt to get some cleaner air for the Sydney teams ... they have jammed them

the NRL affect
its real

quite ridiculous really.
Swans should be on thursday or friday.

AFL is worried about a Sloppy ratings hit

Teams finished 1 v 4 should be privatised
Hawks v Dogs are being rewarded..

Swans v GWS will go up against (st George v Raiders in the NRL) FOX exclusive on the saturday

the NRL has defs got the fumbling game from vicdumboh on the run in our countries largest city
a knee jerk reaction to the fact they know they're losing ground & having to compensate

unheard of 10 years ago , no way Dimitriou or even Mclachlan react like this , but this new guy is jumping at shadows
wow

What does everyone think the rating will be for the games tonight?

I am predicting 2 Million for the first final in the footy & about 800,000 for the irrelevant dead rubber in the Rugby League.
