Turned on the TV and Geelong 35 points or so up - then the Swams kick like 6 straight - crowd was going wild and atmosphere coming through the TV was amazing - fulll house of mainly Seans fans going off - and the pictures of a full SCG from the air at dusk was spine tingling. Now compare that to that boring slogfest that was the Saints V Suns - had to turn it over as was the worst game to watch - such contests in games - a full SCG going off was amazing to watch - here’s hoping tonight’s game is as good.

wonder if the TV audience will be bigger then the attendance at the SCG ?

Yeah I wondered that also. Still a decent crowd and good look and atmosphere - but yes -rating would be good although hard to tell with no actual stv ratings being published so can only guess - so if there is an improvement we can’t know.

while we don't bet them every week like we used to , theres still plenty of stv ratings being published , a lot more kayo these days too which show the dominance of the NRL is even greater then was first thought ...
what we still don't get on STV is a break down by city , & thats been halted for FTA ratings as well most weeks
I suspect the AFL is behind that , the figures were deadset embarrassing coming out of Sydney & Brisbane ... just dreadful .. which was making their claims of progress in these areas look stupid

so just hide the figures & lie
such is the AFL way
