just flicked over to see what sort of crowd GWS have got at Homebush
with there being no NRL in Sydney this weekend , infact no other football at all
the end to the left from behind the camera , from where the line arcs around the goals , so about 60m of seating behind the goals ... there are so few people there I could actually
count them
147 ....
the big stand right in front of the camera is totally empty ... as per usual
theres a few hundred , maybe 1000 in front of that stand , so about 50% of the ground has 1147 people in it , the rest of the ground maybe a 3rd full
crowd
4750

Crowd figure quoted was close to 8000.
They deserve more.
Would like to see a crowd of at least 15 to 20 thousand given population of Western Sydney and the Giants fine form this year.

Did not like a great crowd - yes the weather wasn’t great but still, that’s a poor crowd - especially for an AFL gsme - even in Sydney. I think we all agree the Giants need a reboot from a marketing perspective.

so
had another ganda at the " big big noise from the west side of town "
the midgets V thuns at homebush
last time there was a crowd this dire you could count the people behind the goals to the left of screen
147
today
about 128
difference is today ... unlike the gloomy wet conditions in May , the weather is mild & sunny .. the midgets are in the 8 .. the thuns just outside & this is a highly important game
the other difference is the rest of the ground outside the area behind the goals to the left is considerably less then the game back in May
crowd to be announced
6500
actual crowd
3500
the fumbling game is struggling in Sydney west .... hugely

They just tell outright lies. You would think someone in the Sydney media would call 'em out on it. Maybe the Ginats presence and exposure in Sydney is so tiny no one could care less.

no one dare challenge the " cult " in the media
theres a little black book & jurnos where ever they are who post the truth rather then publish the " official party line " go on it
news ltd certainly don't bag the fumbling game .. part of their last few media deals with them or some such rubbish
but people have eyes
they see
they know

Asif you have a big obsession with Footy/AFL.
I think you should buy a membership with GWS as you clearly like them & want footy to be big in the sad corner of Australia, also called Western Sydney...

On top of my comment just before Asif, did you enjoy the Lions vs Sydney game yesterday in the footy.
In rugby league territory I think it captured the minds of Rugby fans in a Rugby League state. It was simply a great game.
Imagine on the opposite side, me saying that the Melbourne storm played a team from a footy state (Tas, SA, WA & NT) & it capturing the hearts & minds of people from those states like the footy did yesterday at the gabba. It just would not happen!
It would be laughable

.
AFL is king in this country & I think you just have to accept & live with it...
