That was beautiful. If Sydney get into the grand final it would be HUGE for football in NSW.
The ratings would be landmark material in New South Wales!

That's right mate.
The 1996 GF between Sydney and North Melbourne still remains the most watched sporting event in Australian history. The tv ratings in Sydney alone were astronomical. The bandwagon in NSW was in full swing in 1997 too with huge crowds for all Swans games. Here's hoping Sydney wins the flag this time round. [-o<

Oh yes sydney really did give them a thorough thrashing didnt they! It was the lions defence that let them down, along with their attack, their midfield, their coach, general sluggish play, and, obviously, the fat and old weathered state the majority of their players are in.
Funny game to watch.
