This really says it all. Western Sydney has more people living there than each of these cities, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide. More people than every single individual AFL clubs supporter district.
Over 2.6 million live in Western Sydney. Why do they need to play in Canberra too? If the sport was any good, they would not need to play in another city of over 450,000 people when they are already a club covering the largest district in Australia.
They should have huge crowds when they have such a large area covered. But instead, they have very little support in Western Sydney.

Totally agree - massive mistake playing home games in Canberra - play away games there maybe - and ACT gov can pay that club instead.

It is as stupid as suddenly deciding Collinwood will play half their games in Adelaide. Basically the same logic.

There are lies, damn lies and then there are ratings.
Rugby league, Australias most popular game in some of North Eastern Australia.
