No doubt most of multicultural western Sydney residents wouldn’t be able to name most NRL players too. Hardly surprising when you look at the demographics. Most don’t even follow sport… well cricket maybe.

The Bulldogs and Eels would have would have a more multicultural following than every to single club in the AFL.
AFL is too woke for Western Sydney. From banning cheerleaders to LGBT gay rounds, to former AFL coaching staff like Kevin Sheedy making racist comments about the area, to dumb songs and player uniforms. They will never resonate with the area.
