generally speaking they're very solid numbers for a first go at it
over 100K yanks watching
the 2nd game finishing on the East coast after midnight

Soccer & union get similar numbers here in Aust & both get around 40 mill pa for their media rights

the same figure FOX USA looks like it will pay to cover the NRL

I think the population of the two countries need to be considered when comparing the figures - they aren't great figures for Australia if it was played here and I know AFL gets some low figures which are as bad - but in the context of the population of the US this is extremely low - I think it would be on par with an NRL game getting 3000 viewers in Perth for a game - which happens from time to time.

any idea how Big Streaming is in USA

FOX Streaming numbers would need to be added to this number (they are just cable numbers)

( i wonder what the NRL was hoping for as a passable number to provide FOX)

quick note FOX is a cable channel in the USA
it is not FTA
you actually need to pay for it.

100K for a sport that has never been played in the US before ( half the US had the 2nd game finishing after midnight)
100K in NSW & QLD where another sport has always been played & has had teams for 42 years

I think the figures are .... just fine

highest ratings for the day on FOX were NASCAR achieving 1million viewers.

Owner of SportsMediaWatch.com, Jon Lewis,
Anything below 100k viewers on CABLE is low
you want to get above this mark.

as a comparison

The NBA game shown at the same time as the NRL , between the Lakers v Nuggets
( LA V Denver)
so a catchment of over 30 million people & one of their marque sports & a vital clash in this comp
rated
1.6 Million .... thats all
so it would seem people weren't interested in any sport ova there Sat night

The spin is hilarious here… and the delusion is real folks. They are not 100k unique US viewers in your 100k figure. Most are the same people watching a double header.

61k and 44k 🤣
