the first NRL game ever played in the US rated as well as afl does in NSW & QLD , & the afl has had teams in those states for 42 years

nRL fans are talking like it is a success already. I think that they are crowing a little bit too early yet. There are people outside the stadium handing out free tickets just to get the crowd numbers up.

It has been way more successful than every single AFL overseas exhibition match attempt, even if it doesn't grow any more from here.

generally speaking 99.9% of Americans didn't have any interest no , why would they

the NRL delivered .. a spectacular event ..it removed all competition for media here , sucked the air out of the room & it still hasn't returned.
the ratings in Australia were astonishing & will only be replicated by future matches in the USA
people are STILL talking about the games , or when their teams are playing & their desire to experience this once in a life time trip
